New Custody Law Affecting Courts
Many judges are beginning to be aware of the new custody revisions to Florida Chapter 61 - Dissolution of Marriage. I have observed judges comment at temporary relief hearings that if the case extends beyond October, there will be no primary / secondary residential parent labels.
It is possible that the new law will have a more immediate effect than anticipated.
