When we were preparing to study for the Florida Bar Exam, our professors instructed us to not stop any "habits" we may have. If you were a smoker don't quit during Bar preparation. If you are used to working out 3 times a week, don't stop now. Etc. The same advice might apply to people going through a family law matter.
