    Default Permanent periodic alimony

    My exwife is getting remarried soon . I'm paying alimonyicon that is to end when she remarries as the devorice states so Do I need to file a form or will the state stop taking out of my check ? and if I doneed to file a form what form s and where ?

    It sounds like you have an Income Deduction Order and the payments are going through the Florida Disbursement Unit.

    Unfortunately, you must obtain a court order. But if she is getting remarried, you probably don't need to do a complex Supplemental Petition to Modify because you are merely enforcing rights under an existing order.

    You need to file a Motion to Terminate alimonyicon and Vacate the Income Deduction Order. Then you should hold a short hearing (15 minutes). You may want an attorney. Or some paperwork assistance by an attorney may be all you need.

    Finally ... yes - it appears luck is smiling in your direction.
