When does it become fair?
I was just draged through the court process for "Motion to enforce Mediation Agreement" Complete and out right frivolous. I was completely in the right no doubts about it. This was her purpose for simple harassment due to my recent engagement. The day before the hearing she drops the motion! Unbelievable. I hired a lawyer and spent a fair amount of money to defend myself against this frivolous motion. My question is, what can I do to recoupe my expenses due to her?
Again thank you for what you do here. It is of great help whether we get the answer we want to hear or not.

Unfortunately, this is a game that some attorneys play. It is intended to use up your money, time, and psychic energy.
At this point you are out of luck on expenses.
In the future, if you know the opposition plays games, there is a way to deal with this. If the other side files a motion and schedules a hearing that you think is frivolous, file your own motion for attorney fees related to their motion. Then file a notice of hearing for the same exact slot and send a copy to the judge
's office. This will prevent them or discourage them from canceling.
