Angry Help! Being held in contempt!!

I'm at a loss, I'm being held in contempt for non payment of child supporticon, and the hearing is on the 16th. I've been unable to find a job since the last time I was in court (I've been told I don't have what they're looking for or that since I haven't worked in 2 yrs I'm not what they are looking for etc.) My fiance was laid off in April because of cut backs and the economy is killing us. I'm afraid I'm going to be put in jail because I can't pay anything!! Is there any legal defense for me to stay out of jail or will the judgeicon just throw me in?

You can only be held in contempt if:

    1. There is a court order and your duty under that order is clear
    2. You have the ability to comply with the order
    3. You willfully failed to comply with the order

Your defense will be that you tried to comply by getting employment but were unable to. You can prove this with testimony on your efforts to earn money, and bringing to court a stack of application letters.
