    Question Leaving the Sunshine State!

Does anyone know if it is legal for me to leave Florida with my 2 children if I have sole custody of them?
I have read and reread the divorce papers many times and I cannot find anything that says I cannot. The children hardly see their father as it is and I don't think that it will be a big concern on his part. I just don't want to be comfortable in a new state and then be told I did so illegally.
If you can help please respond to my thread, I will check daily.
    Thank you so much.

There is a statute that requires you to seek court permission before relocating.

Default no divorce yet, wife wants to leave state with kids

my wife and i are recently separated, we have not taken it to court as of yet for child supporticon or custody. she currently lives with the kids (4 year old daughter and 2month old son) and i pay her child support 600$ a month voluntarily, she know says she planning to leave the state. Can she just leave without my consent? what can I do to keep them in my life, as of now I try to see my kids 3 times a week with sleepovers and whatnot. What can i DO?

The safest thing is to file your divorce case. After the case is filed, there is a built-in restriction in most jurisdictions against relocating.
