    Default Ill alimony payor

My wife has earnings of 5-6 times my earnings. She had agreed to pay me alimonyicon of $2,500 - approximately 10% of her earnings. She has since been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. We don't know when, or if, she will regain her health and be able to work. Her attorney has said she will not owe me anything. My attorney said she should be paying me $5,000 which the judgeicon might suspend pending her illness. I don't expect anything if she can't earn as much as she did, but am I reasonable to expect a conditional amount?

You need to make sure the final judgment contains a reservation of jurisdiction to address alimonyicon in the future. The easiest way to do that is to agree on permanent alimony in the amount of $10/month.
