    Default No father on bc

Mother became pregnant in Alaska. Moved to Florida and had child. Have done a paternity test and Man A is determined to be father. Man A is paying child supporticon but is not on birth certificate. Mother just recently moved to maine in past 3 months. Does father have any rights to child currently? As in would he be able to take the daughter away? Or would he need to get the courts involved for a custody case?

Payment of child supporticon does not create rights in itself. He must define his parentingicon rights through the courts.

So the answer is - there must be a court order before he can do anything.
