    Default Civil Divorce until now

Been divorced 7 years we both have moved on and we have gotten along well until now. "Dad" called our son (17) and asked him to watch something on youtube. Our son asked me to watch what "Dad" sent. Well it was a very
inappropriate video with sexually alternative lifestyle behaviors (I am being nice). It made my son upset. I was livid. I called him and yelled at him-it wasn't probably the best thing to do but it was a pretty nasty video). Now I
haven't rec'd any child supporticon since via disbursement center (direct deposit).
My ex's job/income has increased substantially since we were divorced and I
am a nurse and make a good living I don't ask for anything more...just want our son to be happy and not have his parents fighting.

I have to be a bit practical on this one. Apart from the money issue - the parentingicon issues are short term because you son is almost an adult. The court system is not a good remedy given the age of your son. My advice - work with it any way you can.

On the money issue.... money is money. You have a right to enforce the child supporticon arrears and it is not extremely expensive to do.

I agree with Attorney Iken on this issue. Unfortunately, we can't make a parent be a responsible one. Further, any relief regarding parentingicon will be very short term due to your son's age. Thus, the benefit may not be worth the expense or trouble.

Regarding the child supporticon, you can file for upward modificationicon. The increase awarded, if any, may be retroactive to the date you file. So, if you want to modify, sooner then later is advised.
