can child supportbe set without proof of income and by word of mouth by other party? more than minimum requirement?
Child Support is determined by the Court according to the Florida Statute regarding same. Some people do not file tax returns or have jobs where it is difficult to prove their income. In this situation a judgeis likely to take their "word of mouth" testimony (which is evidence and the person is under oath) and/or inpute minimum wage to the person. If the person has tax returns from previous years then those may also be imputed (used) to determine an average salary/wage.
