    Default Default Divorce

I recently filed for divorce. I asked the my husband refinance the vehicle he is driving into his own name. I asked for half the value of our boat that he kept. And I ask the he pay half of our credit card debt, as well as for the divorce.
If he does not respond and I file for a default judgement, will I get the things that I asked for in the divorce or will I simply be given a divorce with no judgement on the debts and property?
If I do get a judgement for the property and debt, but pass away before he finishes paying what is owed, will my estate be able to collect from him?

If you filed for divorce, and properly had him served, the court has the ability to order any "legal" relief. Everything you mentioned is not only reasonable, but is "legal." So the answer is yes, the judgeicon will order what you need. Keep in mind that you must still bring to court some sort of proof of the debts and assets.

I believe your estate can enforce judgments. But that is a more valid question for a trusts and estates attorney.
