    Default Income deduction order

    My son has an income deduction order for his child supporticon. He works in construction which has been slow. Two times last month he did not make enough to cover the whole amount. Is he responsible for making this up?

    Yes he is. Because he did not earn enough for the entire payment, he is building up an arrearage of support. Bad consequences can flow from being behind.

    If he is earning less - he can file a petition to modify his support. He should do so immediately.
