Default Length of time mediation takes.

I filed for divorce in January. My husband filed a response in February. My attorney says he has 45 days to supply his financial records before we can go to mediation. Now they tell me it will be 2 months before we go to mediation. Does it take that long or is my attorney just lazy and I need a new one? If I opt to change attorneys, will that cause further delay?
My attorney knows that I am a terminal cancer patient and that I need to finish this divorce for health reasons as well as protecting my estate from the man who took advantage of my situation and conned me into marrying him so that he and one of his ex-wives could get my life insurance and belongings.

"The wheels of justice turn slowly." That is not a phrase that I made up. Two months is considered reasonable - and it a common wait time. The courts are backed up and that means the schedules of attorney offices are backed up.
