    Default reconciliation

My ex-wife and I are in the process of reconcilation. We are living in the same house and things are working out ok. My question is can she stop or suspend child supporticon during the reconciliation or should I continue to pay child support even though my kids are living with me?
    Thanks

You can and should suspend the support payments. BUT, this is not as simple as it sounds if you are paying through the State Disbursement Unit. If so, you would need a court order approving the suspension.

You should go through whichever court where the last support order was signed. You would reopen the same case number.

It would be wise if you and your spouse signed an Agreed Motion to Suspend child supporticon while you are in the process of reconciliation. That Motion can then be forwarded to the court where the child support is at issue with an Order for the judgeicon to sign.
