    Default Invalid divorce

    My spouse and I just found out that my spouse's divorce in the Dominican Republic is not recognized by the state of New York and at the time we married in New York she was still legally married.

    Do we ned to get a divorce?

    Can we get judgement from the court invalidating our marriage in Florida or do we have to go to New York to do this?

    Does she have a claim on a property I purchased in 2008?
