need help - im out of usa

hi, i live out of usa, i meet an american man and told me he is divorce.(he and his wife) sign on the divorce paper. its took about 7 month and he still waiting for the divorce papers.
my question is how can i realy know if he realy filed the divorce? and whats going in the court? am afraid that maybe he is stil married. and i cant know that because i live out of usa.
please help me

you will need to find out where he filed for divorce. The state and county. Then you can search that county's court records, which are usually online and do a search for his name.
