    Default Out of State

I am moving to Florida from another state with 2 minor children, with no financial support, with only my children & their personal possessions & a few of mine. Do I need a signed, notorized statement from their father to leave our present state to move to Florida? Can I immediately get my Florida license, enroll the children in school, then file for custody, support & divorce from Florida?

    Thank You

Whether you can move to Florida is a decision for the courts of your current state. Sorry, but this is a Florida - only forum.

You will not be able to get support or a divorce for at least six months. And after that, divorce will be possible but support will be iffy - depending on the skill of the attorney he hires.
