    Default unmarried and girlfreind pregnant

    I am not married to the mother of my unborn but want custody. She has had her 2 year old removed by dcf for neglect, drug abuse, alcohaul abuse, and she has no job or home.She was also baker acted and diagnosed with bypolar and she is a cutter. She currently stays with a boyfreind where they told her she cant get her son back. It has been 8mos he has been removed already. I am curious what the chances dcf will take the baby and what my chances are. I have lived in my home for 10 years and make very good money. She is also claiming I am not the father. But I am posative I am.

    DCF will not take the baby unless there is danger of abuse.

    You have an excellent chance. It would start with a Paternity lawsuit.
