    Default student loans

here is the situation. wife was attending law school when couple met and the 6 months they lived together before marriage. she attended 2 years of law school and a law school summer program while married. husband provided home and food, she took student loans for law school and personal expenses. monies were never comingled. husband paid for law review. she moved out unannounced the day she graduated from law school. she is seeking the husband to pay 1/2 of law school student loans. is there a florida case which says since she will get all future benefit of her law school education she gets all the student loan debt and he gets none of it?

    Unfortunately, the starting point is:

    The loan is marital

    The degree is not marital

However, I believe there are sufficient facts here for an "unequal distribution" of the loan. In other words, fairness would call for the loan to be the sole responsibility of the spouse that went to law school.
