    Default Child support in FL

child supporticon hearing/case is in FL. The mom has lived in TN for 4 years and the dad has lived in MN for 10 years. The case is still open in FL however a modificationicon will not be granted because neither party lives in FL. The dad makes significantly less (only working part time - looking for a full time job). We got a notification in the mail last year that it was time for it to be reviewed. We filled it out and then later got a letter back that it was denied because FL no longer had jurisdiction in this case. However the case is still open in FL. Shouldn't the mom be required to close the FL case and open a new one in TN?

The case will eventually be closed by the clerk of court.

    Default How long?

How long before the case is closed? Dad was denied review over a year ago and is still paying child supporticon.
