    Default Food Stamps

While doing my taxes this year, I found evidence that the estranged husband applied for and began receiving food stamps prior to our separation and throughout our ongoing divorce. I already forwarded what I found to DCF fearing that I would be responsible for possible fraud. DCF researched and assured me my SSN was not involved; but suggested they would be investigating him. I heard from a friend that a district attorney should be involved, is this true? If so, in what capacity? What is my best course of action? Will his actions negate the validity of our mediation agreement (signed by both parties 10/19/09). This issue is one of many complications that is delaying the judgeicon's final signature on the mediation agreement.

I doubt this will affect you at all. And I do not think it will be a cause for delay of your divorce.
