    Thumbs down Poa

x forged my signature on $18,000 worth of profit sharing checks and $38,000 worth of insurance checks, after we were divorced. Police said it not their problem because she had a Power of Attorney. The POA was from 15 years ago, 8 years before the divorce when I was on the road working about 50% of the time.

I have been told that the divorce should of cancel the POA, plus she didn't use the POA, she forged my signature.

Is there anything I can do?

Keep complaining to the police. Visit your local State Attorney's office.

You can also sue for Civil Theft in a non-criminal court.
