Question Can property be given as child support?

My Husband and I have property paid off in both of our names. He has the kids. Can I just sign my half of the property to him as payment of child supporticon or will I still have to pay child support regardless?

Yes, that can be done. Attorneys frequently design that type of situation in a settlement agreement. Make sure you have proper language in your agreement. Also, there are technical considerations if payments are directed through the State Disbursement Unit.
