Default Child Support - Separated with child under 18 filed after 18

My wife and I separated (sold the house moved into separate residences) while my youngest was 17. Child moved in with me. I thought we could work through an uncontested dissolution, not so, and didn't file until for dissolution until after he turned 18 (he's still in high school). Is my wife liable for any child supporticon?

Possibly not. The court loses jurisdiction over the child at 18, and cannot impose a new award for support.
