Question Refuse to Work even if he used to make 90K+

When moving to FL, husband decided to start his own business and take care of baby. This lastes just 6month. Nanny hired then daughter has been in daycare since she was 15 months. Husband worked until she was 8 months - during all our marriage life.

He refused to find a job even if I had encourage to go to another state. He has settled in a job that only requires 1-2 hrs per day and that makes him happy. Happy doesn't pay the bills and I had enough. I forced him to start paying daycare. I didn't want to support a man with 3 university degrees staying at home doing nothing.

He doesn't want to move out of the house and feels it is my responsibility to support him even if I am willing to give him 50% of all the cash we currently have which can help him for almost 2 yrs without work.

I am not going to contest child custody which I expect 50%. but Can a judgeicon look a data that he was perfectly capable of producing good income and deny spousal support? I just feel every penny I end up giving him will impact my daughters living.

Yes, all of that figures in. But you should have an attorney if alimonyicon is an issue in your situation. Too much at risk to do otherwise.

You will attempt to prove that he is "Voluntarily Underemployed"
