Long Distance Divorce Q's
My wife and I met in Florida, and lived together for 3 years or so, with the exception of the last 6 months. I am now working a long-term contract in the Czech Republic and have decided to divorce. My wife was here for 11 days in January to discuss the situation, and we both realize that divorce may be the best thing at this juncture. In fact we are finding ourselves in a fairly amicable position, as long as we are apart. We are both in agreement about this situation with divorce, and are comfortable with it. Really. We are both over 50, she has an adopted 14 year old daughter from Ukraine, which I never legally adopted in Florida. There is no property to squabble over either. It should be a relatively simple situation. I am just rather lost as to how to proceed from over here in Europe, and it's absolutely not feasible for me to fly back to FL, to do the filing etcetera. I just need to get the ball rolling!

I am not really sure what your question is. But based on your situation, this should be quick, easy, and low stress. I suggest you use an attorney to file an "uncontested" case. A bit of expert help will make this easy. We have several services that may provide value to you.
