    Default fiance needs divorce

I have been with my fiance for 9 and a half years her daughter from her first marriage is 10. I have raised her as my own have never met the father and he has never made an attempt to meet her. He is also a registered sexual predator with a criminal record. When we file for divorce we don't feel there will be any resistance from him, but if there is does he have any recourse or rights to fight for custody or visitation. If there is no resistance typically how long odes this take and how much money?

Yes, he can ask the court for parentingicon time. That is his right.

If this is an uncontested divorce - a typical time is 90 days. There are several cost alternatives. Visit our Easysaver link above.
