    Cool Sad in florida

My husband and i will be married for 10 years in october 2010. He has been verbally abusive for the last 3 years and i can not take it anymore. I asked him to get help. But he is in denial. I need to leave due to things getting alot worst. We have already lost our home, due to him not working enough last winter. He makes good money during the summer. Alot more than me. We both still live in the home right now because it was the home i grew up in and i wanted to try to stay, but he does not want to.what i want to know is, can he be forced to pay for me and my son to move. He made 2,000 last week and i made 300.00. I cant afford to leave. And he will not help me leave. He would rather have me there and just be misable as long as he is okay. He is one of those guys that is very selfish with hes money. Keeps it all for himself, because i dont ask. Very prode. But now i need his money to leave. What are my options. Also can i get alimonyicon.

MY HUSBAND IS THREATING ME THAT HE IS NOT GOING TO LET ME HAVE MY VEHICLE IF I LEAVE. THE VEHICLE IS IN BOTH OUR NAMES. i HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR THE CAR FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS. hE DOESNT WANT TO GIVE ME ANYTHING, VEHICLE, FURNITURE EVEN A BED TO SLEEP IN. hOW SHOULD i HANDLED THIS.

You probably have a claim to some sort of short term alimonyicon.

If you want to leave, take the car and take some furniture. Don't consult with him - just do it.
