    Default law about child support based on % care is given if less than 40%

    I know there was a bill stating that child supporticon will be dermined based on % child is with parent even if less than 40%. Has this bill been passed? If not is it expected to be and when? When will it take effect?

    That is an excellent question !

    The new law was just signed by the Governor Crist.

    We posted a quick summary on the new child supporticon law. To answer your question, it appears that specific provision takes effect on January 1st, 2011. But stay tuned for updated interpretations.
