    Post non-family member over nights

My ex says she has put a condition in our settlement that i cannot have non-family members staying overnight when my daughter is with me. I am planning to move in with my girlfriend and do not plan to get married. Can she enforce this if i do not agree? What are my best options here?

I would get a copy of your order to see if that was slipped in there. If it is in the order, she can hold you in contempt. However, If it is in there, I would file a Supplemental Petition to Modify and have that condition removed.

Thanks for responding. I am not divorced yet so there is no order. We had agreed on everything else and were moving toward a magistrate referal so my question is now that there is this, what do i do. I can't agree to a condition like that since it would mean I can't live with my girlfriend, which is the reason I left my ex in the first place. If I refuse to such a condition and we go in front of a judgeicon, how would he decide whether such a condition is reasonable?

This depends on the specific facts of your case. But in general a judgeicon would not look favorably on restricting your normal life.
