Default Modification of Back Child Support Owed

My Ex Husband has obtained an attorney to modify back child supporticon which is still owed on our youngest son
roughly the amount is 4500.00. Our original divorce agreement was for the amount of $700.00 per month
for our 3 children until the age of 18. Our youngest just turned 18 last month and recently graduated from
High School in Florida. He is asking for a reduction in the monthly amount owed or to have the back amount
owed terminated all together since our son is 18 and has graduated, he still however lives in my home and
will attend college in the fall. I cannot afford legal counsel and was hoping to get a generalization of what
I might expect at our court hearing on 6/21/10. Is it possible to have support terminated with an amount
that is still owed? What is our original decree stated he was supposed to cover 65% of all medical, dental,
coverage for our 3 children by having them added to his health insurance? I am the only one that has had
our children covered until my health insurance for the last 16 years. Am I also entitled to any reimbursement
for that? What should I bring to this court hearing to prove this? Thank you for your time.

child supporticon ends at age 18, or age 19 if the child is still in high school. That is something you can count on. Arrears may be adjusted if they were caused by the child having turned 18.

Normal arrears cannot be wiped out.
