Take kids out of state?
No divorce papers filed yet, still living, well, under the same roof. The wife has expressed she wants to move back to her family in Ohio, and she said she is taking the kids. I have read that if paperwork has been filed she can go 50 miles or so, but what if no paperwork has been filed? If she goes to leave one day, can I stop her from taking our kids with her? Want to know what the law states should this situation arise.

You need to immediately file a case if you are concerned about a surprise relocation. Until a case is filed, either parent has the right to relocate.

Being civil
OK, so I filed, and we are still cohabitating while she makes plans to relocate out of state. She was served today with paperwork, she has 20 days to respond. How does she respond? Is there a specific form? Also, I want to amend one or two of the original documents since we were able to agree on a couple of things (mainly the kids), what is the proper way to do that?

I think you are asking me to duplicate several hundred pages of info that is already posted on our website. Please take some time and read through the material that has already been posted.
