    Default Modification to Child Support

When our marriage ended in mediation, my ex was living with his cousin who "claimed" my ex paid him much more than he actually was in rent. He recently bought and remodeled a home of his own and a new truck. He has admitted to getting a substantial raise at work and then when confronted about it denied it. Can an request to modify child supporticon be submitted to the court directly from a petitioner? I have no money for additional attorney's fees. Could I end up having to pay him if his debt is greater (truck payments etc) or lose money in child support payments from him?

Yes, you can file for modificationicon yourself. Expenses do not figure into the final support number. If his income increases, support may go up.
