Well, had the mediation today, a waste of $200. No agreement. He wants 50/50 custody so that he has to pay the minimum of support....like I said before, the problem with that is that his work schedule will prevent this. He works 8am till 8 or 8:30 pm m-f. He wants to give our son to his (legally disabled) mother so he doesn't have to pay as much, when I am HOME. I am terrified. He still isn't paying his bills and still isn't giving us any money....none...not even the $200. His lawyer tells him that he can get the 50/50, but I can't imagine a judge giving our child to his mother over me. She is on disability and has had 2 heart attacks. He is 7. Temp. relief hrg. is the end of Sept. I can't sleep over this....am I worrying more than I have to?

Please get some sleep. Sometimes, mediations end this way, but end up working out in the end. The Temporary relief hearing should wake him up. Get as much advice as to the judge and his opinions on shared parenting time.
