Rare divorce issue includes seperate contract need help!
I have a very unique divorce situation and need help! I was divorced in feb. 2004, my x husband is on SS disabililty, so during arbrition i agreed in a seperate signed ocntract with my x father in law, that he would pay in $125 in child support
for my son, in lieu of me receiving support from my x (i do receive SS), I was paid the first few months by my x father in law as stipulated in this divorce contract, but never received a dime after that. I was afraid to go after him, as my other son lives with my x husband and I didnt want to start anything, a few months ago my x father in law passed away, in the contract we both signed, it clearly states if he dies before my son is 18 his estate will pay. I want to know how I can receive all the money owed me through the years, plus make sure I receive it going forward until my son is 18. I actually want it for my sons college, I would appreciate any assistance anyone can offer how to go after the estate for this back monies. I have all paperwork as I represented myself during the whole divorce, arbrition, etc...

This is not a do it yourself matter. And you may already be passing a critical deadline to make a claim against the estate. You need to immediately consult with an estates and trusts attorney.
