    Default Child Custody

I currently have the standard FL Child Custody agreement and it is not working for my ten year old son. He asks me all the time is he can ask a judgeicon to let him live with me. I am wondering if there is a set age in the state of FL for a child to decided with whom he or she would like to live. It is frustrating to watch my son struggle with our current custody agreement. Any information will be appreciated.

A child's feelings may start to become relevant at age 12 or later. But the children never can completely decide. And most times - a child's preference will have no practical way of reaching the judgeicon's ear.
