    Default New Support Law?

    Hello,

I was divorced about two years ago. I am very active in my children's lives and have them more than the 73 overnights but less than the original 146 required by the old statute. With the passing of the new law, will I be able to have my support modified to the alternate calculation? Thanks for any help in this subject...

From what I can see so far, It seems as if you have your children approximately 8 nights a month, the child supporticon starts to go down.

Don't count on much relief. The new law appears to have a few glitches. If you have 20% of the overnights, support may be the same or slightly more. You really need to get up to 25% of the overnights or higher to start reducing your support.
