    Default Alimony

I have been married to my husband for over 15 years. We have a daughter who is 14 years old. I make a little bit over $25,000 a year and he makes a little bit over $42,000. I have always had a job throughout the marriage but for the first 9 years of our marriage my husband went to college, got his undergraduate and graduate degree, and never held a job and I worked and paid the bills. I feel that i deserve alimonyicon and would like to know if a judgeicon would award me support.

Based on the discrepency in pay and the length of the marriage, I would think that a judgeicon would award something. However, alimony is based on your need basis and his ability to pay. You will also get child supporticon, so your alimony would most likely be less.
