Default Ex-Wife getting re-married Alimony question

My ex is getting remarried. our decree called for permanent alimonyicon. it is my understanding that the alimony will cease once she is married. Do I need proof of the marriage and do I need to file anything with the courts. I have sent correspondence to the ex confirming the last date of alimony.

    Thanks for the help.

If there is direct payment, from you to her, you need nothing. Just stop paying at the appropriate date.

If you want to be thorough, get a copy of her filed marriage certificate from the County records office, and hold a short hearing in your original court to terminate alimonyicon.
