Default How long should alimony modification take?

Due to financial circumstances, I have had to ask the court to modify alimonyicon payments. I am under an income deduction order that takes almost all of my income. The process was started in January, and now my home is in foreclosure. Most of the delays have been through attorney error. Is this an unreasonable time frame to wait? Do I have any recourse?

Your attorney needs to push this through the system. At the appropriate time, in your jurisdiction, a hearing on temporary relief can be held. You may be able to reduce payments at that time.

There is no set amount of time for a case. It depends on what is happening, and the tactics of both sides.
