I recently got divorced from my husband and had planned to move out of the state of Florida. I have 4 children and my oldest daughter 19 and youngest daughter 13 wanted to leave with me to begin a new life. However my other two daughters 15 and 17 (will be 18) in less then two months. Didn't want to leave there friends but they didn't want to live with there father either. He is only the real father of the 15 and 13 year old. He has never been a loving father but he has never touched them he just never really cared. Now when I pressured them to come with me they threatened to run away. (Which I knew they would) My ex husband was staying in Fl ( he remarried) he told me he will get them to live with him. I had become estranged from my 15, and 17 year old for a couple of weeks as there are the most rebellious of my children. Having had a long very hard divorce I left the state because my smallest daughter needed to start school. I just got new's that my daughters have opened a case against my ex for child abuse because he was going to legally take one of my daughters out of her friends house. Now I know 100% that my ex has never touched my daughters. I love my girls and when I was younger was abused and made sure they never had to grow through that. I home schooled all of them they are my life. I know I will be called back to Fl because he said the girls are saying I abandon but I'm worried will be charged for something I never did. I don't want to lose my other baby girl. I didn't want to leave them but they didn't want to go. They are young, very angry one of them even calls her friends mom "her mom". I know she would go to any length in order to stay with her friends. Could I be charged for something I never did?

I do not believe you will be charged - but it is always a possibility.

The more likely outcome: you may end up having your parental rights terminated. If you do not, you can almost count on an order for you to pay child support.
