Change of Venue

I have been dealing with a biter baby momma, she is refusing to allow my child to call me or even allow my child to visit my home. I want to go back to court to resolve this issue but California has jurisdiction can I file for a change of venue in Tampa instead of traveling all the way to California?

If the original jurisdiction was California, and the mother and child are still there - you cannot shift the case to Florida.
