Medical payment Question
As the father, I am responsible for 60% of medical costs. My employer provides a $1,000 HRA as part of our insurance package. Does this $1,000 count as part of my 60%? A simple example- my daughter incurs medical treatment costing $2,500. The insurance gets the bill from the doctor and subtracts $1,000 HRA money and sends a bill to me for $1,500. The ex-wife wants to do the 60/40 split on the $1,500. I contend the 60/40 should be on the $2,500. Thank you for your response

If your final judgment does not specify what to do with the HRA monies and it was not calculated into the child support
amount my guess is the court will require you to contribute 60/40 to the remainder. If you would to know for sure and/or modify the amount you contribute, you can file a Motion to Clarify and pose this question to the court.
