State child support enforcement slow

I put in an application almost 10 months ago with child support enforcement. In that time they do not seem to have done anything.

I called and called over the last several months and each time I get stuck in their voice mail system. Is there a way to speed up the process?

I have never been able to understand priorities in the Florida Dept of Revenue child support Enforcement dept. They are all over some cases and go to sleep on others. Occasionally I see a case completely fade away. Other times they are like a hive of angry bees.

There is nothing you can do about the situation. You do have the option of hiring a private attorney for your case. But short of that I have never discovered a solution to this type of problem

I have been in your shoes. X owes over 6500 in back child support. I lost custody - temporarily due to not notifiy court to relocate. But I emailed Gov. Christ office and also the DORCSE and now I have a court case in April to address the issue of why no enforcement has been done. I emailed them in Jan and got a court date set 2 months later. Where there is a will, there is a way.
