My situation is this: I am active duty military and my husband is retired military. We got married on June 17th. He gave me a general POA on June 21st. During that time, he made all of these promises as to things that he would do for me and my children. I made the payments as he suggested on his credit card by paying bills on the internet. He then leased a brand new SUV in his name becuase my car is on its last leg and we were planning on a new addition. He ups and decides that he doesnt want to be married anymore 30 days later. He revokes the POA July 24th but during that time, I had been in the process of paying my car off as he told me to do. Now this past weekend, my finance company called me and said that they had to pay back all of the charges I made to his card due to erroneous charges in which he called the Fraud dept and said that I didnt have permission to make those charges. But I made those charges in July and he is just now saying anything and he was aware of what I was doing. Is there anything that I can do becuase now everything is now 4 months behind and due to him leaving me and my children who are not his but at the drop of a hat, I dont have any more to pay the delinqency. Anyone, please advise. Oh, he filed for the divorce in Tampa on Sept 8th as uncontested and he didnt ask for anything in the paperwork.

You can hire an attorney to participate in the divorce - or do it yourself. In any case you can ask the court to award you money to offset the debt he ran up.

There is no other simple way to get your money back.
