Default How "tightly" are the new cohabitation laws being interpreted?

My Ex is after me to drop my alimonyicon based on his job loss & cohabitation.

I live with my boy friend (has been since before the divorce was final) but pay my bills. However one utility is in my name & we are on the same auto insurance (separate cars) and share a cell phone plan.

I do not work due to health issues.

How tightly are the cohab laws being viewed in courts? Have there been any challenges at the higher courts to more clearly define how this is to be enforced? It appears that any support of any kind by any type of roommate could be used against an obligee.

The cohabitation statute has turned out to be more of a modificationicon statute. To the extent a significant other is helping pay the bills - alimonyicon may or may not be modified.
