Health Insurance/Life Insurance

I currently maintain Health Insurance for my soon to be ex-spouse on my employers group plan. Can the courts Order my employer to maintain her on my group plan,also i've been reading that i might be court Ordered to buy Life Insurance on myself and have my ex wife as the beneficiary could you explain why? Thanks

The insurance company will refuse to cover two unrelated single adults one the same policy - and that is where you are headed. The court cannot compel them to change that policy.

Life insurance is intended to secure an award of support such as alimony or child support. Just in case you walk outside and get flattened.
