    Default child support

My ex and I have been seperated for 3 yrs. We agreed that until we would share custody of our 2 children. I moved to another county so my son chose to stay with my ex and I had our daughter. DOR is now going after me for child supporticon for our son..this does not seem far beings we agreed not to go that route..What can I do to stop it? if anything

DOR is not responsible to figure out what agreement you and your ex have, rather any time a party requests services or notifies them the department will seek child supporticon. If you ex is willing to sign a Joint Stipulation as to Time Sharing and Child Support then you can introduce that into evidence for the DOR hearing. OR you can file a Petition to establish Time Sharing and Child Support and that will put the DOR case on hold while the underlying family judgeicon will figure this out.
