My soon to be ex and I are in a bitter custody battle. I'm in a middle of an appeal right now. The proposed parentingplan is not signed. My ex is telling the school it is and trying to restrict me with communication with the school. My son is in 5th grade and final year of elementary school. He has been attending the same school since he was 4in Palm Harbor. One of the reasons the general magistrate was willing to grant residential custody to my ex was due that "it is in the best interest of the minor child to remain in the same school". I currently live in Pasco county and my ex lives in Pinellas. My ex has since lost his job and now moved into his girlfriends house in St. Pete forcing my son to now transfer schools. Is there anyway I can motion to stop this or file an injunction? What can I do? He is planning to take our son out by the end of this week and start him at a new school at the beginning of the new year after the holiday. Friday is the last day of school for Pinellas county.
As you can figure out, I don't have an attorney and can't afford one but my husband has one.
