My brother has custody of three children (one learning disabled); works part-time, receives food stamps and the wife has abandoned the home. The children are not hers. She works as a licensed cosmetologist. Would he be required to use his child's benefits check and his meager part-time income to pay her spousal support in the event of a divorce?
